What are you working on?

This is what we started with.

We have been telling you about what others are working on so I thought it was time for us to share a little more about what we are working on. Our current project is top secret but I will give you a few peeks at it.

First up it is a 1967 Dodge Coronet. It will be a restomod and not a restoration. It will be powered by a Hemi and it will be a driver. How about 4 wheel disc brakes and independent suspension? Ok, that’s it for now.

Here are some pictures. The suspension is not yet under the car but we were working on ride height so we know where to put the new suspension in the car. The wheels are closer to the fenders that they will be when the car is finished and these are not the final set of wheels. At least not at this point.

It may not look like it but this is months later! The ride height is set.

You can’t see it but there is a Hemi in there!

What’s a restomod if it can’t have better seating?

I grew up and lived in Iowa for nearly 40 years before moving to Southern California and now live in Tennessee. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle especially the 1969/1970 NASCAR Aero Cars. (Check our our www.TalladegaSpoilerRegistry.com page) As long as it has four wheels on it I get excited. Few men are lucky enough to be able to share their passion for cars with the woman they love. Fortunately, my wife Katriana is also a gear head and many of our activities revolve around the cars. We have a small collection that includes at least one car from each of the Big Three. Katrina prefers all original cars while I like to modify them so we have a few of each. When we aren't playing with cars we are out with our miniature donkeys. You can see more about that part of our lives at http://www.LegendaryFarms.com.
